More civil than servants

EU Staff for Peace is a spontaneous initiative gathering staff from the European Commission, Parliament, Council, and various EU agencies. Every Thursday, the group gathers outside the European Commission to call for increased action for peace in the Middle East.

Support Human Rights

We want to speak out, but also to take action and support humanitarian causes for people living the horrors of wars. Check out how to participate

Find or create a local group

Like the staff engaged for the action against the climate crisis, also EU civil servants committed against war crimes are creating local groups all over Europe

Write peace letters to EU leaders

Since november 2023 we write letters to EU leaders around the values of EU treaties: Peacebuilding, Human rights Protection, International Law enforcement

EU Staff for Peace Mission

Since november 2023 EUS4P is a safe space for public engagement, direct action and “loyal dissent” with EU institution, where EU staff can express their solidarity with victims of all wars, with special concern for the victims of the ongoing genocide in Palestine, certifed by the United Nations, Israeli humanitarian organisations and genocide scholars.

Direct Actions

We organize public gatherings close to the European Commission and Parliament, to speak out for peace and justice, everywhere and for everyone, with our thoughts and conscience rooted in the peace building project that is carved in EU Treaties. Acting as a pacifist group is our way to fight against the fear, shame and loneliness that can hit people saying and doing the right things.

Social Dialogue

We are engaged in a social dialogue with EU institutions, to promote an open and respectul exchange between political leaders and thousands of EU Civil Servants that supported open letters and initiatives, sharing belief that European Union has the power to stop the ongoing genocide in Palestine.

Staff support

Since november 2023 we are supporting EU staff committed to the principles of nonviolent direct action, protecting and advising people experiencing hostile behaviours at work because of their peaceful beliefs. We stand up for the right to dignity, freedom of expression and non-discrimination of EU staff speaking out for peace and justice.

Be the change you want

Support the European Citizens’ initiative to suspend the EU-IL Association Agreement.

“not in my name, not with my money” – a raising number of EU citizens wants to cut their economic and political ties with a government whose leader is under an international search warrant for crimes against humanity and war crimes. EU Staff for Peace supports the European Citizen’s Initiative that is calling the European Commission to put forward the proposal to the Council for a full suspension of the EU-Israel Association Agreement because of a clear violation of the human rights clause.
